Witty Love

Romantic comedies are for the desperate,
people of the Earth who
live each day with wide eyes
hoping, wishing
for that one perfect person
to brighten a gloomy day.

I for one,
wish I could say,
that I do not enjoy
romantic comedies.

/ This is a love themed poem, we were required to write love poems in honour of Valentine's Day fast approaching. I'm not really sure about this piece, love is a hard topic to handle, in my opinion.
